Search

aura_search_all

One call across all four surfaces in parallel — slim rows with facets, full rows on demand. Narrow with aura_search_components / skills / assets / design_systems, aura_categories, aura_recommend or aura_related. Default search falls back with suggestions; pass exact_match:true for an honest empty.

Fetch

aura_get_component

Full HTML/Tailwind source + preview + page URL. Skills return the whole SKILL.md; systems return DESIGN.md tokens + preview HTML. full:true skips chunk windows, and aura_bundle / aura_bulk_fetch pull 2–8 items per call — per-item errors never fail the batch.

The rules of the house.

Five guarantees the server enforces on every call, so agents can trust results without re-checking.

Free only, always

Every search, fetch and install is hard-filtered to the free catalogue upstream — pro items never leak into results.

Honest empties

Default search falls back and says so. exact_match:true returns a truthful zero instead of padding — keep it on for verification.

Slim rows, full on demand

Lists carry facets and characters counts, not bodies. Bodies arrive from fetch tools (full:true, or chunk windows).

Guarded award fetches

Scheme + literal host policy, bounded DNS check, streamed size caps, redirects re-validated. 404 → NOT_FOUND, 429 → no retry.

Labeled evidence

Award results mark live-browser vs static-html evidence, always list evidence gaps and carry a confidence score. Missing data is never proof.

The Bridge — references, fresh docs, icons.

Inspo references, fresh docs, free icons and version checks — the v1.7 layer. Inspo calls are planning-only (no fetch); every hit keeps its license and upstream link.

What the award tools need

The core loop works with nothing installed — search, inspect and blueprint are pure HTTP + parsing.
Chrome is optional: live captures, band maps and structure scans via AURA_CHROME_PATH.
ffmpeg is optional: bounded .webm frame studies via AURA_FFMPEG_PATH.
Corpus lives in ~/.aura-mcp/awards · polite ~1 req/s · nothing auto-crawls.
aura_award_index rebuilds ≤ 20 pages per call (maxPages) and resumes unfinished cycles.
